If you are looking to buy a home, sell a home, or are in the Real Estate Industry all together then Zillow.com should be your favorite website on the internet. Zillow.com offers tons of free services for people involved in the real estate industry either as producers or consumers. According to Zillow one of their premier services they offer is “a Zestimate™ home valuation as a starting point for anyone to see — for free — for most homes in the U.S. So, using the Zestimate as the foundation, we built a Web page for each home and then filled it with data and maps and layered it with publicly available information such as comparables and tax information. We were breaking new ground — to package all of this information in one place for everyone to see, for free.”
They also have other neat tools for people to post their homes for sale, with all kinds of details about the property. Their overall concept is to “become a trusted, vibrant online real estate hub where everyone comes to get an edge in real estate.” This is a very valuable resource for all people since we are all technically in the Real Estate Industry. This site proves to us how valuable web 2.0 really can be for us. Check out zillow.com today.

PropertyShark.com is also very useful, although its more of a tool for real estate professionals and investors rather than homebuyers.

I like the idea of propertyshark.com. I wish they had more data than just the 8 or so states they currently have data for.
