Let’s clarify a few things about this app. It’s built in PHP and MySQL. It is Open Source and licensed under the MIT License. It features some basic features of a Social Network like the ability to make “friends” and post status updates. It also has the ability to aggregate information from other social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook.
