SEOmoz is the place the go for information about SEO if you did not know that already. They have writers who straight up tell you what you need to know. They have a great article called Beginner’s Guide to Search Engine Optimization that is very helpful that I have taken time to read over the weekend. I think that every person involved in with the Internet in anyway should read this to have a good fundamental understanding of SEO.
Another free article they give you is called Search Engine Ranking Factors where they held a survey with many of the top SEO experts from around the world to find out what the Google Search Engine is looking for to better rank a site. I have found both of these articles extremely helpful and I hope you do to. SEOmoz gives terrific information and their Premium monthly membership to their premium content I am sure is worth every penny.
