Okay so I know this is random for this blog, but I felt it was needed. While Internet Marketing has done so much for me in my life financially and professionally, there is much in my personal life that I feel it has prevented me from. Think about yourself for a moment here. What have you missed out on over the years?

Some call this a “bucket list.” I just think of it as a list of things I HAVE TO ACHIEVE in the next few years or I am seriously failing! I think of a bucket list as “things you do before you die!” That’s not quite what i’m talking about here. The things I have listed are things that are a little more reasonable, but I have somehow just not managed to do them.
So you’re probably wondering… what does Internet Marketing have to do with things I haven’t achieved in my life? Simple really. Internet Marketing has consumed me! It’s been everything I’ve done, thought, and breathed for the past 6 years. And because I feel that level of commitment is what it takes to truly be successful in Internet Marketing, I feel that it has kept me from doing the many other things I have always wanted to do in life.
So here is my list…
1. Go on 1 real… I mean REAL vacation with my wife
2. Write a book on the experiences and knowledge I have gained from Internet Marketing
3. Get a consistent 8-9 hours of sleep every single night for a month
4. Kick my Caffeine addiction for good
5. Finish my undergrad
6. Go to a Lakers playoff game (my favorite NBA team) at the Staples Center in L.A (before Kobe retires)
7. Go on a speaking tour teaching people Organic Internet Marketing
8. See MUSE live in concert in Wembley
9. See Coldplay live in concert pretty much anywhere
10. Take a trip to New York and visit Time Square
11. Go to a Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park
12. Go see a movie at the theatre by myself
13. Take a trip to Europe (i’ve never once been out of North America)
14. Travel to the Philippines and learn more about where the Sagum family came from
15. Stop using a computer or any device for at least 1 week
16. Learn a second language (preferably Spanish)
17. Coach 9th Grade Football again
18. Road trip down the California Coast
19. Take a trip to Cancun with my Wife and some friends
20. Eat pasta at an amazing (highly recommended) restaurant in Italy
21. Go on a road trip without a map!
22. Go hiking on the Big Island of Hawaii and see a live volcano in action
23. Go camping at least once!
24. Coach a High School Basketball team
25. Finish my basement
26. Build a deck in my back yard
27. Go to a Celtics, Bulls, Knicks, Blazers, and Heat basketball game in each respective city
28. Write a Christmas letter to each of my close friends and family members for Christmas
29. Run the Boston Marathon
30. Get back in shape again like I was about 5 years ago (okay bodyfat wise… none of us really get younger)
So now that you know everything about me… now it’s your turn. What things do you feel Internet Marketing has kept you from because of your overwhelming busy schedule?

You should totally rip off Matt Cutts and do his 30 day challenge for #2-4, 15-16, 25-26, 28 and 30. It’ll also give you a new post series for your site.
Then for some of these you could do a little grouping- #1 can be grouped with #21-23. 8 and 9 can be done with 13. Hit up 10, 11 and half of 27 when you do 29. Do 19 as a reward for 16. 18 and 21 are begging to be done together.
As an online marketer, you’re not (supposed to be) tied down to a desk with management breathing down your neck. You can make money, do the things you want and, for the most part, choose where and when you do it.
You can knock this list out in two or three years, Sagum.
And if you’re going to get pasta in Italy, get Gnocchi.

Kirkham you are the man! I totally forgot about Matt Cutts and his 30 day challenge. You’re right on everything you are saying here! The key is going to be whether or not I can have the discipline to actually do these things.
Also…I love Gnocchi. Great idea!

Just wanted to let you know that I love you! I’m ready to do all of these things with you (well maybe not the Boston marathon) whenever you’re ready! But know that I also appreciate all you do for me, so keep up the good work. But let’s fit some more fun in there too.

I agree with all of those things. Especially #8. But do you kind of feel like Kirkham is rubbing all of his travels in our faces? I do. What a jerk, right?

#1, 9, 29-22 – Do you need the Gee’s to show you how to travel? Don’t let your brown skin go to waste… go get a real tan!
#4 – I support you. Always have.
#12 – Might I suggest the Justin Beiber movie.
Just get out Chase. You work harder than anyone I know.

Seriously Kirkham! Just because you’ve “traveled the world” doesn’t mean we have to hear about it!
