If you find yourself needing to create a landing page, it wouldn’t hurt you to get some design inspiration along the way. One of the best things to do before creating your landing page is to look at other landing pages first and take down notes of the things you most like. Then start to sketch out with a pen and a pad… your new concept for your landing page.

It can be very difficult however to find high quality landing page examples which is why I created this blog post. No messy, ugly, 1999 looking landing pages allowed here! Just high quality examples of how landing pages should be done. Let’s take a look.

Note: each landing page listed incorporates many landing page principles that you should be following. For the sake of this article I just pointed out a few of the main things I like about each page. For a further diagnosis of how landing pages should be created refer to 52 Ways to be a Conversion Badass from the Unbounce blog.

1. Performable.com

  • Clear and concise headline that stands out above all else
  • Download button clearly stands out
  • Facebook and Twitter buttons in top right corner act as reputation logos

2. SalesForce.com

  • Arrows help visually portray an increase in revenue for those who use Sales Force

  • Eharmony always does a great job of utilizing photography that is completely relevant to the offer

  • Notice that the logo is at the head of the lead form
  • Truste and BBB logos to add even more trust on top of the Verisign logo

5. Zoosk.com

  • Great use of testimonials at the bottom of the page
  • Notice the “as featured in” logos at the bottom right hand corner of the page
  • The logo is obviously being made even more prominent than normal… probably because of all the TV spots they run

6. FatCow.com

  • A spin of Nutrition Facts. Very clever!
  • The sign-up button is HUGE. You can’t miss it.
  • Notice all the reputation logos of other companies/organizations on the page.

7. Unbounce.com

  • Great use of testimonial and image of the person giving the testimonial at the bottom of the page.
  • Specific icons alongside each feature that is mentioned.
  • Solid looking screenshots that accurately portray the actual product.

8. ResumeBuilderPro.com

  • A clever way of incorporating reputation logos – “Ads Seen On”
  • Pro icon within the logo gives you a sense of stability with this offer.

9. iContact.com

  • Bottom right hand corner = they took the time to remind visitors that the information they submit through their form is safe and secure.
  • A great display of creative design with the shield and the email icons behind it.

10. CareerBliss.com

  • Rather than the typical button and/or lead form, this page sports a cool little javascript tool that allows you to take your “bliss” assessment.
